Went out aboard Jillian2, Started off bottom bashing and got a few undersize Nannygai to start with then my rod loaded up big time. After a good fight an 18kg Gold Spot Cod surfaced. It took a gulp minnow fished on a paternosta rig. Next was a school of various species of Trevally. We managed to get quite a few including a double header.
We also trolled for some mackeral but to no avail, then moved in shallow and got a nice Red Emperor of about 65cm.
All in all a great day!
