Tried a different lodge this year - Freshwater Lodge. The fishing on the first day was OK at best with only 18 fish caught by 2 anglers for a whole day. However the second day was a belter! We smashed a couple of Barramundi (they were off all over the island) plenty of Blue and Silver salmon, Estury and Spotted cod, 1 million Jacks, massive Golden Trevally, 4 foot bronz whaler and the trophy fish caught my my 80 year olf father a 108cm Threadfin salmon. I didn't know but apparently thse ar a great fish and at this size very rare. Bit dissapointing the Barra weren't on -but always next time I guess. Cheers Captain Pugwash |
