Ok I know I said my next report would be from Sumatra, but the fishing was so poor over there this year it doesn't rate a mention. Launched Sunday and fished all of the King George Whiting spots I have out front at the Island, couldnt turn a reel. Apart from the odd wrasse nothing was biting, we moved back late arvo to the glasshouse in about 35/45mtrs and managed 15 flathead, caught plenty just below the minimum, should be a good season if the trawlers dont RAPE the area.
