Thursday: Winds NW to NE 15 to 20 knots early in the morning, with a 20 to 25 knot S to SE change moving northwards during the morning and early afternoon, easing to 15 to 20 knots during the evening. Wind speeds and directions dependent on strength and position of trough. Seas 1.7 metres, increasing to 2.2 metres. Swell - Less than 1.5 metres. Scattered showers, isolated thunderstorms.

Friday: Winds NW to SW 10 to 15 knots with inshore afternoon N to NE sea breezes. Seas 1.2 metres. Swell - Less than 1.5 metres. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Saturday: Winds W to SW 10 to 15 knots early morning, increasing to S to SE 15 to 20 knots during the day.

Thursday: Winds SE to NE winds 15 to 20 knots, shifting SE 20 to 25 knots during the morning, easing to 15 to 20 knots during the evening. Wind speeds and directions dependent on strength and position of trough. Seas 1.5 metres. Rain areas, isolated thunderstorms.

Friday: Winds NW to SW 10 to 15 knots. Seas 0.7 to 1.2 metres. Patchy rain, isolated thunderstorms.

Saturday: Winds W to SW 10 to 15 knots early morning, increasing to S to SE 15 to 20 knots during the day.


Fraser Island Waters, Sandy Cape to Double Island Point
Thursday: Winds SE to NE 30 to 40 knots, decreasing to 25 to 33 knots from the north by early afternoon, and to 20 to 25 knots during the remainder of the afternoon.
