The all-new Ford Ranger

Introducing the all-new Ford Ranger - one of the safest and most high-tech Utes to ever grace Australia’s roads.

The all-new Ford Ranger has roared onto the Australian market bringing a combination of brawn and brains like never before. Offered in three cab styles – double, super and single - the all-new Ranger combines the toughness of a Ute with smart technology, outstanding safety credentials, fuel economy and exceptional quality and comfort.

Designed and developed here in Australia, the Ranger is built for any challenge and thrives on the toughest of terrain. Here’s a look at what makes the all-new Ranger a true leader:

Outstanding safety credentials
The importance of safety was top of mind when designing the all-new Ford Ranger. It created history when it became the first ever Ute to receive a five-star safety rating under Europe’s EuroNCAP crash test protocol. Add to this the Ute’s five-star ANCAP rating on an extensive range of models, and you can be assured the Ford Ranger ticks all the boxes when it comes to driver well-being.

One of the most high-tech Utes on the market
You’ll be searching long and hard to find a Ute in this segment+ which boasts superior smarts to that of the Ford Ranger. Bluetooth®# with voice control is standard equipment on all models , and XLT and Wildtrak models come equipped with reverse parking sensors making the Ranger one of the most high-tech Utes on the market. The all-new Ranger employs a comprehensive safety arsenal, including innovative active safety technologies to help drivers avoid accidents, such as the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) which uses advanced sensors to constantly monitor the vehicle’s behaviour and assist stability and control.

Ever capable
If it’s grunt you’re looking for the Ranger has you covered, and then some. With a 147kW 3.2-litre Duratorq TDCi five-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, the Ranger has the power to get the job done. Couple this with the Trailer Sway Control system which monitors your tow vehicle by sensing trailer sway at the outset, you can tow with confidence knowing the Ranger has the brains to counter signs of drift.

The Ranger is crafted with space in mind; the double-cab version boasts more than 20 stowage spaces, capable of holding a range of objects from lap-tops to six beverage cans.

Fuel economy
The all-new Ford Ranger has been engineered to give its owner a break at the pump. Just because it’s big, doesn’t mean it needs to be thirsty; the new 3.2-litre Duratorq TDCi five-cylinder diesel engine* is among the leaders in its class for fuel economy, ranging from 8.4 L/100 km** on a 4x2 XLT variant to 9.6 L/100 km** on the range-leading Wildtrak 4x4.

21st century styling
The taut and muscular Ranger features a short overhang up front with the signature three-bar grille. The windscreen has been raked back for a sportier and more dynamic silhouette, while the traditional square form of the truck has been sculpted to give the vehicle a more modern and aerodynamic look.

Designed in Australia to take on the world
Designed and developed in Australia, the new Ranger takes advantage of Ford’s global assets to create a Ute to be envious of. The Ford Ranger will be manufactured in three continents and sold in 180 markets, making it one of the farthest-reaching Ford products in the world.
