Braided Loop

1) Pass end of the braided line through eye of a large darning needle.
2) Depending how large you want your braided loop thread the needle into the braided line.
3) Pulling it out a few inches down from where you entered the braided line Remove braided line end from needle.

4) Slide braided line end back into braid then give a coating of Pilobond glue.
5) Push end of fly line into braid.
6) By pushing braid over fly line then stroke along you can feed the fly line several inches into the braid.

7) Where supplied in premade braided loops, slide the plastic sleeve over the end of the fly line that is within the braided line.
8) Using a thread bobbin (weighted with your dubbing whirl or whatever) lay down a bed of thread at a point near the end of the braided line. Rotating the connection between your fingers to lay down the thread. Helps if someone can rotate the spool of fly line the same way to avoid twists or kinks (thus weak points) in the fly line.
9) Give a coating of Pilobond glue to the whole shebang for added security and durability.
