  Beetle Fly Swap
Of all the insects to choose from the Beetle must be one of the most recognized terrestrials that has been seen as a constant fish taker. Fished wet or dry and at all times of the year the humble beetle has become the norm when fishing in Australia as well as overseas. Join the swap and see what other concoctions fellow tiers have come up with in the pursuit of a perfect beetle.

The Tiers Pattern Comments
1. Richard Carter Foam Gum Beetle A float all day beetle pattern, readily taken by trout in both streams and on lakes.
2. Barry Jacobson Fiery Brown Beetle Wet fly. Effective on midge feeding trout.
3. Bernie Baer Geehi Beetle An Australian classic, suitable for streams and rivers in the Snowy region but worth a try anywhere else.
4. Rick Zieger Foam Beetle This is a foam beetle with ice cheniile under the foam around the hook. Has worked on warm water fish form me.
5. Robert Morger Jade Beetle Pretty little thing that can knock the socks off of jaded fish. Good little fly to use when there are alot of beetles on the water and the standard patterns aint cuttin it.
6. Alistair McBurnie Black Humpy This is just a black version of the humpy but it works a treat during the spring and summer.
7. Ashley Surprise Beetle Sorry about the lack of info guys, I am waiting on the availability of some materials.
8. Tony Tea Tree Beetle Just starting out on the net, would like to get involved.
9. Andrew Harris Hairwing Coachman It's a Hairwing Coachman - tied backwards! My favourite Beetle pattern, highly visible and great for bubbling little streams.
