The answer is yes, even for the other swaps available on this site. But for all you tiers that ask this question this one is for you. Beginner tiers or tiers still learning - even if you only know how to tie one fly and haven't caught a fish yet - sign up for some good fun and learning experience.

The Tiers Pattern Comments
1. Romana Baited Breathe SW Yes, I know, the baited breath is a very common fly, but I have a ridiculous fondness for this versatile little fly. I caught my first ever fish on one of these babies, a lovely salmon trout. I think it is a worthy part of every flyfishing person's flybox.
2. Paul Garrett Parachute Dun Grey ostrich body and a calf tail wing with a para hackle of whatever's handy. I've only tied a few of these and haven't fished one yet, but I'm told that they're "fish killers"(or whatever the catch-and-release term is for a good fly) and match many pale duns. Sizes 12 & 14 are as small as I'm prepared go at this stage.
3. Robert Bryant Caterpillar Terrestrial A two tone body of yellow floss or ultra-chenille and peacock herl on a streamer hook with wire ribbing and dry fly grizzly hackle at each end creates a dangerous snack for fish that feed in areas where overhung branches make caterpillars available as a food source.
4. Jay Wharram Crazy Charlie I have not tried this fly out as yet, but I think it should do alright.
5. Kristilee Carter Bugeyed Zonker I good streamer pattern, that also works in saltwater in larger sizes.
6. Emily Carter Velcro Crab A good crab imitation that is real easy to tie.
7. Travis Richardson Tail Nymph I think a slight variation on the traditional pattern, this one featuring legs and a peacock herl thorax.
8. Vin Lam Tellico Nymph This is the first fly I ever tied, so natrally, this is what
I have decided to do it for this fly swap.
