The Tiers Pattern Comments
1. Grant Crazy Charlie Just thought i'll put anothe crazy charlie in the fly box because there the main fly i use for bream!
2. Steve Cratchley Emu Squid A great fly as showen by the master (Lips). Not to hard to tie and kingfish love em!
3. Stephen Galvin Bushy's Bongo Variable This is a great saltwater fly good for many species easy to tie and easy to cast, I add a couple of white feathers as well as Grizzles and put a bit of goat hair in the middle for a bit more body and add some sparkle as well tied on 1/0's.
4. Clint Bauer Attractor pattern I am a real beginer and an only tie these types of flys. I am really willing to learn any new patterns.
5. Jason Dexter Blood Worm This is a basic fly that is the number one fly for Whiteing.
6. George Podmore Bent-back Nymph Good for Trout, the bent back gives a different swim pattern, could be used for Bass.
7. Ben Smith Blue & White Deceiver Used successfully on salmon trout and mulloway - I'm very much a novice tyer, but they should be alright.
8. Peter Papworth Davis Delight Not sure if Davis Delight is the right name for this fly, but it is tied in the same fashion. I am new to tying salt water flies, but I tie all my own trout flies.
9. Tony Hickman Baited Bream This is my version of what might be a baited bream.
All olive in colour with a hint of flash. Sure works in the river where I fish.
10. Barry Talon Squid I am still leaning, the talon squid is not in any pattern book. We developed this pattern. Mr Johnny Walker, the red one & I. The talon squid is a simple to built fly that can easily be modifyed to suit your personal taste and most fish seam to enjoy with the bonus that it can be fished with almost retrieve rate.
