Dry Fly Swap
Some say the only fly fishing is dry fly fishing. Regardless
of your views on that, the dry fly does have something special.
The visual bonuses while fishing the dry are well documented.
Tying a good dry fly is an art all by itself. Easy to tie dries
& effective dries make the use these flies in reach of all
anglers regardless of experience. |

Daddy Long
Legs (Crane Fly) |
A great dry fly, Rainbows will come 3ft out the
water to take one of these, and miss a lot too, gets the addrenalin
going when it does miss, but it usually comes back for a second
go so don't move it !!! Easy to tie too, legs are a bit fiddly
but easy once you've done a few. Brings back memories just thinking
of tying one - got my biggest fish on one of these. 7.25 lb Rainbow,
3lb tippet, I had too run around a lot too. |
