Estuary & Inshore II Fly
Swap
Just love those saltwater fish, hit hard, fight dirty and runaway
really fast. Come on give us one of your saltwater patterns.
Don't worry if a fly by that name and type is already in the
site's fly box, swap your version of it. The last swap was a
beauty, this one will be as good too. |

Emu Squid |
A Whyalla Fly Tying group creation. Scored some
emu feather while taking the kids to an animal park, I spent
the whole time picking up feathers while the kids ran from pen
to pen to pat the animals. Fly has a great swimming action that
so far has proved irresistible to flathead, snapper and small
kingies. |

Seat Cover
Slimey |
Just a small slimy mackerel pattern using some
material I was given that looks like the fluffy seat covering
material found in a Monaro. It has lots of movement and can handle
the toothy critters. Caught macks, bonito , tailor and pike in
Sydney Harbour on this little fella. |

Good all around fish immitation fly. Try it for
any bait chasing fish. Can be tied in many color combinations,
a quick and easy fly you won't feel bad donating to the fish
Gods if they so will. The Yank |

White Deceiver |
After much discussion, the 'white deceiver' makes
its' way to the Aussie Fly Swap. Although Deceivers are tied
in many colour variations and sizes from size 6 right up to foot
long offshore flies, this one is Lefty's original pattern to
catch stripped bass back in the fifty's. |

This is the first fly I tie on when fishing the
rocky shorelines of the NT. If there are any Queenfish or trevally
in the area, this is the fly that will nail them. |
