Beadhead Freshwater
Hook : 8 - 14.
Thread : Black.
Tail : Black cock fibers.
Body : Black seals fur.
Thorax : Black seals fur.
Wingcase : Black quill.
Legs : Rubber cord.
Hackle : Black cock.
Rib : Flat silver lurex. |

Tying Instructions
1) Place Bead Head onto hook behind the eye of hook.
2) Attach the tail fibers onto the top of the hook extending
two thirds out from the bend of hook.
3) tie on 3 legs per side equally down the hook.
4) Attach the rib and body material and wind on for 2/3rds of
the hook length and secure with legs in position.
5) Wind on rib material in 3 turns to the front of the body and
secure.
6) Attach the wing case and secure.
7) Wind on the thorax section to the front of the hook.
8) Attach the hackle and wind on 2 turns.
9) Hold the hackle down and pull the wingcase over the top and
secure.
10) Whip finish off the head and varnish. |

they use, in addition to size, shape, and colour. The Crawling,

a crawling nymph |
Fishing Notes
Fishing the fly -Use sinking tippet
and line. In 2 - 3 meters of water use a slow hand twist or figure
8 retrieve along the bottom or over the weed, with an occasional
twitch and pause.
