Fly Notes

Fishing Notes
I use about a 5X tippet and vary the retrieve. Sometimes a steady retrieve works the best and other times very short strips with a pause. Experimentation seems to be the best idea.
Target species includes Bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish and walleye have hit this fly. I have also caught one brown trout and one rainbow trout on a size 12 in this fly.

Location Notes
I use this mostly in ponds as most of my fishing is warmwater. Have used it in a few trout streams.

Prey Notes

Representation of a nymph.
