Fly Notes |
Fishing Notes
It can be a bit heavy in size to fish
in shallow slow water but if the depth is there or the current
is strong it performs well as an upstream nymph as the drift
finishes you can add life with rod movement and fish across then
retrieve upstream slowly in jerks giving the bait fish presentation.
So you got two chances with one fly.
Fished like a nymph or stripped fast for a smelt pattern.
Target species is Trout. |
Location Notes
Fly has worked in all locations, although
not made for polarioding. Best fished deep over drop offs in
lakes. |
Prey Notes
Generalist, attractor, bait fish, nymph. I have had caddis feeders
and damsel fly larvae feeders take it with relish. |
