Fly Notes
Got this fly from Issue 47,1999, Winter,
Freshwater Fishing, p158, Adam Royter ( a very innovative tier
if this pattern is anything to go by) Caught myself a few Golden
Perch and bass since then on this fly. A real lure fly, a pure
attractor pattern. Tie it any of the colours of your favourite
plastic lure and go cast it in the local stocked dam. |
Fishing Notes
A fast sinking line the best approach. Get fly to bottom and
flick along with pauses between strips. Untill ready to cast
again.
Target species include, Bass, Golden Perch, Murray Cod, Mulloway |
Location Notes
Underwater structure like cliff faces, boulders, hillsides and
other holding points in impoundments. |
Prey Notes
A pure attractor pattern though could be taken for a baitfish. |
