2) Take another hook this time the larger short shanked one (?Gamakatsu stinger #2)
3) Lay down a bed of thread
4) Apply some super glue
5) Tie on along the top of the hook shank your long shank and hook eye.

24) Slip this into the hook eye extending from the rear of the first part of this fly. Point up (opposite to first part of fly).

Fly Notes
Tied in black, purple or olive a great bass catcher. Another version I tie is all black with a fluoro orange belly. You could use any of the colours of successful lures.

Fishing Notes
Count down to the desire depth (were the bass are holding) and jig retrieve upwards (medium length rapid strip, long pause, repeat till see leader and cast again) The articulated tail section waggles around in response to the jig type retrieve.
Target species include, Trout, Australian Bass, yellowbelly and cod. Works in the salt too for mulloway, and mangrove jack.

Location Notes
Underwater humps/hills with bass schools showing on the sounder. Steep banks.

Prey Notes

Attractor pattern, though could be representative of a baitfish or a leech at a stretch.
