Hook : Black Magic G8 or Mustad 80250BR #8-12.
Thread : Brown 6/0.
Eyes : Polystyrene 'beanbag' balls wrapped in stocking.
Tail : Brown marabou.
Body : Copper Lite-Brite dubbing.
Wingcase : Brown raffia.

Tying Instructions
1. Tie in marabou tail thick and trim short.
2. Wrap 2 equal size polystyrene balls in stocking material and twist to make firm.
3. Tie in eyes at front of hook and criss-cross through both eyes.
4. Take thread to tail.
5. Form dubbing loop.
6. Dub with Lite-Brite to just behind eyes.
7. Tie in raffia, dub rest of body.
9. Pull raffia down over eyes and tie off just behind hook eye.

Fly Notes

Fishing Notes
Fish with fast sink line along bottom, fly will ride above bottom because of polystyrene eyes. Try a shortish leader 5'-7' and use a long, jerky retrieve with long pauses.
Target species includes, Trout, Australian Bass.

Location Notes
Fished late afternoon into night around weedbeds and moderate sloping shorelines.

Prey Notes
Representative of mudeye with added buoyancy to fish just off bottom.
