Fishing Notes
Targeted species, Brown and Rainbow
trout. |
Location Notes
I have had my best success fishing
this nymph in freestone streams both in Australia and New Zealand
usually through glides and runs to both sighted and unsighted
fish. It fishes extremely well under a small yarn or dry fly
indicator. |
Prey Notes
Fly isn't an exact imitation of a
nymph but is a great all round representation. The sheen from
the peacock herl thorax is the key to the success of this fly,
it adds a great element to the fly's structure. |
