Fly Notes
Saw this pattern as a photo in an article - Vol22Num3, 1999, Fall, Flyfishing and Tying Journal, p46, Jim Schollmeyer. Like it straight away, had to tie some asap. Have fooled a few silvers so far, but haven't yet had the opportunity to test out on the trout. Hopefully this winter.

Fishing Notes
Look for subtle sips or porpoising trout which would at times indicate a midge hatch.
Target species include Trout, Silver Perch.

Location Notes
Lakes and impoundments.

Prey Notes
