Hook : Mustad Aberdeen sizes 2-4.
Thread : Black.
Eyes : Hair jewels.
Tail : Marabou.
Rib : Chenille (pipe cleaner).

Tying Instructions

1) Attach thread as normal and tie in eyes. Eyes will spring apart if pulled to allow insertion of hook shank. Tie in using figure of eight and superglue in place.
2) Return thread to rear of hook and tie in a generous bunch of marabou.
3) Finish off thread with a few half hitches and glue to seal.
4) Wind pipe cleaner from rear to behind eyes, then back over itself to build a tapered body behind eyes.
5) Crush pipe cleaner to body using pliers and adjust profile shape.
6) May also apply glitter nail varnish to body if desired.

Retrieve with regular strips, allowing to sink between strips, or impart a jigging action.
Targeted species, Bass.

Location Notes
Streams, rivers, impoundments. Useful for swimming above and between weed beds and other structure.

Prey Notes
Generalist, could be a giant mudeye(?) or a shrimp or dark coloured minnow.
