Tying Instructions 1. Introduce chenille rear of hook, build up an oval abdomen, tie off at the 2/3 mark. 2. Tie in overwing, pull forward to bring it in line with rear of body. 3. Continue with chenille to shape head. 4. Whip finish or half hitch to finish.
Fly Notes Can be tied in any colour, matching overwing brown. I Hungarian partridge for overwing. I have found dark olive the best. Can be used as a beadhead. Add beadhead to final tippet and push onto hook eye. This makes a single fly double purpose.
Fishing Notes Slow figure 8 retrieve. Target species is Trout.
Location Notes Weed banks, timber, morning or evening. Look for spent mudeyes on timber/banks.
