Mungo Shrimp Crustacean Saltwater Hook : Gaimakatsu size 8 up eye F21. Thread : Black flat waxed. Eyes : Burnt mono. Tail : Rainbow crystal flash. Rib : Larva lace or mono.
Tying Instructions 1. Attach thread and tie forward. 2. Tie in about 15 strands of crystal flash at the bend of hook. 3. Tie in burnt mono eyes just above the crystal flash. 4. Tie down lava lace & wrap forward. 5. Tie whip finishing knot & head cement.
Fly Notes This fly can be tied in as many colors as you can think of & different sizes to suit target species.
Fishing Notes I generally use 8lb mono about 8' long. Fish it like you would any other shrimp patterns. Used on Bream, although have heard Mulloway, Trout & Redfin catches have been made on this fly.
Location Notes Mainly weed beds in the early morning.
