Hook : Short shank, up eye, size 10+.
Thread : Danville's flat waxed nylon, olive.
Body : Chenille over fly line.
Head : Thread.
Tail : Red wool.
Hackle : Grizzly

Olive Wooly Worm

Tying Instructions
1) Tie on thread.
2) Tie on some roughened supple fly line and some red wool.
3) Use a second vice to keep the line and wool tight and tie on some olive chenille, work this back to the end of the fly line, leaving about 1cm of wool uncovered.
4) Tie on 1 or 2 grizzly hackles at the tail and wind them all the way onto the hook.
5) Tie off the hackle and build up a small tapering head.
6) Lock and Finnish the head.
