Thread : Brown.
Head : Thorax made of orange bug yarn.
Tail : 5 or 6 strands of pheasant tail.
Rib : Copper wire.
Body : Pheasant tail fibres.

Tie this fly as you would for a normal pheasant tail nymph but instead of a normal thorax tie in some bug yarn.

Normal setup for any style of nymph fishing.
Carp is the main species although trout will take it as well.

Location Notes
Fish the lake edges for cruising carp or in the slower pools of creeks or drains where carp are known to hang out.

This is an attractor pattern.
