Fly Notes

Fishing Notes
I tend to use about 2m of straight 10kg line for a leader with a 30cm tippet of heavier line.
Primarily Barramundi are targeted with this fly but given the range of habitats you might find
yourself fishing in, you could end up connected to almost any tropical game fish.

Location Notes
As you will probably be targeting Barramundi, fishing the colour change around creeks and run-off is probably the most productive method. Casting to snags and rock bars will also score fish. I favour the last of the outgoing tide for fishing in the harbour and tidal areas. Late afternoon around snags and lily beds is best for freshwater holes.

Prey Notes

The pink thing combines the profile of a baitfish with the attractor qualities of the hot pink collar.
