Hook : 10 black magic 4x long.
Thread :
Black.
Weight : Lead wire around middle third of shank.
Tail : Tuft of green then black marabou on top.
Hackle : Black and olive grizzly.
Body : Med. black chenille.
Back : Red tinsel from Christmas tree.

Tying Instructions

1/ Lay a bed of thread from eye to hook bend and back to middle of shank.
2/ secure wire and wrap middle third of shank and secure with thread wraps and cement.
3/ tie in small tuft of olive marabou on top of hook bend then black to equal a normal tail.
4/ tie in your hackle at the tail.
5/ cut 2/3 pieces of tinsel about an inch long and tie in just in front of the tail.
6/ tie in chenille and wrap to just behind hook eye trim and tie off.
7/ pull strands of tinsel down over and along the body and tie off and trim behind hook eye.
8/palmer hackle to hook eye and tie off.
9/ Whip finish and cement.

Fly Notes

Fishing Notes
As with any wooly bugger i.e. strip pause jerk fish it slow if you want it on the bottom. Fish it faster to target fish higher in the water.
Targeted species, trout bass and even carp.

Location Notes
Around snags, lake edges, drop off points etc.

Prey Notes
Attractor pattern with movement and flash, could be a crayfish or baitfish.
