Tying Instructions
1. Slide a glow bead head onto your long shank hook, place hook in vice.
2. Build a lump of thread behind bead.
3. Place a drop of super glue on thread lump.
4. Before super glue dries and using long nose pliers slide thread lump up into bead head to lock it against the hook eye.
5. Lay down a full bead of thread.
6. Tie in tail material at hook bend.
7. Tie in flash material down either side of tail material.
8. Cut and fold some prism tape to shape.
9. Tie in prism tape with crease along top of hook shank with sides covering tail material.
10. Tie off thread behind head then trim excess thread.

Fly Notes
Hook selection is cheaper than a 34011 with a narrower hook gape. Body material is cheaper than fly specific body braid.

Fishing Notes
Fly line/leader setup dependant on use, but as a suggestion for Tuna, a medium length leader (2-3m) with a wounded fish retrieve will work most times if the fish are there. Slowly motor upwind of the school. Drift quietly down on to the school. Cast ahead of the school. Let the fly sink a bit. Strip the fly fast if a little erratic stop and start.
The glow in the dark bead head helps the fly to be seen at night, but also works well in the day.
Target species are any pelagics that feed on small baitfish, Mackerel, Tuna. Estuary Bream also.

Location Notes
Offshore were birds working surface. Around estuary structures for Bream and Trevally.

Prey Notes
Small baitfish.
