Fly Notes |
Fishing Notes
I usually fish this fly under a dry
fly, midge ball or a Grey Wulff when the trout are porpoising
to the midge. It has also been effective when fished to rises
whilst drifting the fly across a breeze riffled water. A slow
figure of 8 retrieve can be useful when there is little breeze
on the water.
Targeted species, Brown and Rainbow trout. |
Location Notes
I use this fly quite a bit at Eucumbene
in the evenings. |
Prey Notes
Imitation of a midge pupa, can be
tied smaller or larger to suit local species. |
