Fly Notes
Saw this pattern in a book by Skip
Morris about tying with foam. As soon a I saw it, it had to be
tied and tested. The results of that testing now demands it always
be in my fly box on trout outings. Larger versions have been
tied for silver perch testing on northern NSW impoundments. I
have seen them rising all around me and believe this pattern
and others like it (if tied a little larger) will work wonderfully. |
Fishing Notes
Look for subtle sips or porpoising
trout which would at times indicate a midge hatch
Target species include Trout, Silver Perch. |
