Thread : Black.
Tail : Black feather and a metal thread.
Body : Metal cotton.
Hackle : Red tied palmer style. |

Tying Instructions
1- Wrap shank in metal thread.
2-Tie in feather for the tail, with a metal thread or two mixed
in.
3-tie in hackle at hook bend near tail, then wrap palmer style
up to hook eye and tie off. |

Fishing Notes
Fish take it free drifted or short
retrieve.
Targeted species, I think most fish would eat this fly but its
mainly a trout fly - snowy mountains NSW. |

Can be used anywhere, seems to get
eaten in most places. |

It's a good question as to what it
represents, but fish eat it and that's what matters. |
