Tying Instructions
Cut a 3/4" section and push a dubbing needle at an angle through Glowlace at one end. Withdraw needle and insert hook point - work hook through Glow lace and slide up the hook to allow space to work..
Next tie silk at just past hook bend (point end) and tie in a small bunch of hackle fibres (these should point down at say 30degrees to shank plane).
Slide Glowlace back as far as possible against tail butt ends and tie wraps around end firmly (the lace tends to roll but can be managed with a bit of ambidextrous skill).
Draw Glowlace over top of hook measure to say 2 eye widths back from eye and cut chamfered back. Now hold lace in position on top of shank and wrap 3 wraps of silk in a spiral to eye at lace end taper or whip lace end add / wrap a cock hackle (Fibres approx. shank length four turns tie off, shape a cone head and whip finish.
Add head cement to each end covering threads and allow to draw between hook shank and Glow lace length by capillary action.

Fly Notes
This is a luminescent night fly with black cock hackle and tail for contrast and motion and should prove a good fly to entice large night feeders into a strike. The contrasting black hackle and tail should impart some vibration which, together with the luminescent glow should result in technology prevailing over nature.

Fishing Notes
Floating or sink tip line, with short leader. Maybe even a bit of Glow lace as an indicator although strike should be hard and aggressive. The hackle and tail angle is designed to wobble the fly and impart vibration. So a slow to jerky retrieve would be the go.
Targeted species - large browns/ rainbows may even natives.

Location Notes
Either Lakes or streams.
