White Caddis Grub
Nymph Freshwater
Hook : Kamasan
"Trout Shrimp and Buzzer" size to suit (B100).
Thread : White 6/0 UNI.
Head : Thread.
Rib : Flashabou.
Body : White under fur from a hares pelt.
Thorax : Peacock herl. |

Tying Instructions
1. Place hook in vice tie in thread
and take back to just past the hook bend.
2. Tie in 1 strand of flashabou and dub a tapered body to about
¾ along the shank.
3. Take the flashabou and rib the body (4-5 wraps should do)
and tie off.
4. Tie in 3 strands of peacock herl and twist into a rope. Form
a neat thorax and tie off.
5. Whip finish. |

Fishing Notes
I usually fish it under a small yarn
indicator or dry fly, lead wire can be added to the fly during
construction to get down deeper if desired.
Targeted species, Brown and Rainbow trout. |
