White & Grey Bendback Baitfish Saltwater Hook : Mustard 34007. Body : Pearl metallic thread. Thread : White. Tag : Pearl Krystalflash. Belly : Under wrap of lead wire. Over wrap of pearl diamond braid metallic thread. Wing : White bucktail. Pearl flashabou. Grey bucktail. Eyes : Prism eyes with a coating of 5min epoxy.
Tying Instructions 1) With hook point up, bend a 34011 long shank hook one quarter of a hook shank from hook eye downwards. 2) Place hook in vice hook point up. 3) Lay down bed of thread. 4) Tie is a few pieces of pearl Krystalflash for a tag/tail. 5) Wrap the bend shook shaft with 5 -7 wraps of lead wire. 6) Lay down a bed of metallic braid from start of bend in hook shaft to hook bend. Over lead wire. 7) Tie in a clump of white Bucktail twice to 2.5 times the length of hook. 8) Tie in a few strands of pearl flashabou over white bucktail. 9) Tie in a clump of grey Bucktail twice to 2.5 times the length of hook. 10) Build up a thread head, tie off thread. 11) Add prism eyes and give a coating of five minute epoxy. 12) Place in drying wheel till epoxy sets. 13) Add some red permanent marker pen gills to complete fly.
