The Tiers Pattern Comments
1. Richard Carter Prism Tape Slider A tube fly with lots of slab side flash.
2. Iain Ross Ezy Whitebait A great fly to use right now around sydney, the bait about is about 3 inches long and has a distinct silver lateral line, both kingies and salmon have showed a definate preference for this fly recently.
3. Grant Marshall Craft Fur White Bait My match for the white bait in Broken Bay at the moment.
4. Wesley Pang Polarfibre Surf Candy Variation on the surf candy but using some of my favourite materials - Polarfibre(white and chartreuse), silver Comes-a-live, epoxy and Gamakatsu SL12. This fly has caught Mac Tuna, Longtail Tuna, queenfish, spotted mackeral and spanish mackeral.
5. Rod Clouser Minnow The best fly when the school just goes down.
6. Billy 2 b 8 'n Baitfish Great fly for when the bonnies are going crazy.
7. Ben Smith Green Baitfish Imitation Basically a green deceiver, but tied with artificial materials (widow's web).
8. Ashley Morrow Eyes Fly This is my version of Grant's fly (sorry mate, hope you don't mind my crappy version). It does however work and has taken some bonito and one kingie earlier this year.
9. Arron Davies Skinny Little Flashy Profile A chartruese flashy profile, tied light. Never used it but I'm sure it would work (probably).
10. Richard Carter Gold Eyes A gold tinsel version of the origianl Eyes fly by Grant Marshall.
