Purple Fly Swap   Purple Fly Swap
One eyed, one horned, furry, purple people eater' I think were some of the words from a hit song back in the sixties but purple flies have long been a favourite of mine too. There are lots of materials out there dyed a nice shade of purple and the fish don't seem to mind them either when tied in various patterns. Enter your purple fly for this swap. The fly doesn't have to be all purple just have a little purple in it.

The Tiers Pattern Comments
1. Richard Carter Purple Marabou Clouser A pattern with action, movement and plenty of 'eat me'.
2. Robert Morger Purple & White Softhackle Seaducer Great fly introduced to me by a little lady from Florida that can fish the pants off of most people in the salt. She needs to work on her freshwater technique for trout though.
3. Grant Marshall Ugly Purple Bugger I am only new to this colour of bugger, but in its short history it has proved rather catching.
4. Rick Zieger Purple Wooly Bugger I tied a few of these and they have worked when other colors did not. These will be on a swimming nymph hook.
5. Richard Carter Purple MOS
