|
The fishing show on 94.7FM will dedicate its full 2hr show to the new marine parks issue between 8 &10am saturday the 24th of July.
VR FISH representatives Ben Scullin and Ted O'Rourke will be live in the studio to explain which waters are proposed as new marine parks, what areas they will cover and what WE need to do to stop this from happening again. I urge that if you have any queries regarding the new maine parks to call the VR Reps and ask them anything regarding any marine parks matter on (03)52225947 between 8 &10 Sat 24th.
The areas recommended in this new proposal cover an immense amount of great fishing destinations and at least one of your favourite fishing destinations will be lost if we dont stop this from happening.
Now is the time to all group together and fight so this doesnt happen again.
Also we will be having an interview with the one and only Mr Squidgy Kaj Busch.
Whoever cant get reception in their area the show will be podcast on 947thepulse.com.au and go to the fishing show link later in the day.
Cheers Paul |

Yeah g'day Paul.
It appears there is a growing issue surrounding the level of support the BCF/Ray's/Supercheap Auto group have given to VNPA (whom proposed the new marine parks).
Might I suggest that the guys maybe contact Ray's/BCF for clarification?
If it's true this could be potentially devestating for BCF/Ray's. If not then they need to be afforded the chance to refute it before it really hurts their sales, etc.
Either way fishos need the facts fairly quickly I would think.
Any chance you could pass on this request to the guys?
Ta muchly.

Be a good way to get rid of Rays and BCF so the small tackle shops can survive against these bulldozer stores.

Gday Bill , i've just been told that BCF/Rays/Supercheap along with the RACV have all pulled their sponsorship of the VNPA. Maybe they saw the big picture. Thanks again.

I'd like to give a big thank you to Ben Scullin and Ted O'rourke who came into explain the goings on about the marine parks with their 7,000,000 page documents .Even though Ben complained it was taking up too much of his fishing time They are doing amazing jobs to keep us fishing and they need to be commended. Keep up the good work guys.
