I have just been approved as a Eco Pass Licensee to guide in the following National Parks in NSW.
Kosciusko National Park, Barrington Tops National Park, Blue Mountains and Kanangra-Boyd National Parks.
Some the locations are into remote areas and there is a limitation on the number of trips.

Yes I fished the Tops prior to the drought.
I have seen a few big feral cats down the Kanangra, but nothing quite as big as you are describing.
