I saw a bloke fall off the Hopkins River bridge whilst trying to untangle a plastic jighead from one of the beams. Laugh????....I became wet on the inside of my waders and swallowed 1800 midge into my lungs.....and caught my usual 15 bream and about the same in perch.

yeah, the Hopkins is dirty but will clear up in the next week, I caught a 42 cm perch today in the Merri and a few bream and salmon. Go see Mick at Hooked on Rods & Reels, he will have up to date info on where the fishing is hot. Good luck.
