Cracked it today and did a big spit.
Re-worked the whole thing and it's now a "T TOP Walk-around"
'T TOP Walk around frame'.
"Got your attention"??
"NO NO NO"The dash is released and has had a 'stand up' and a bit of a trim...
Very comfortable height and operator position is great.
Roof was re-positioned with 'high tech' "Laser Guidance"
Front 'templates' are now in position with a bit of 'nipping and shutting' but alls good.
Core Cell/Poly Core will now be installed as side panels and front 'wave breaker/windscreen shell.
Front panel will be one piece and 'temperature moulded..(bent for seamless angles)
The 'front boot' (cuddy cab) seems very large looking in from above.
Checked out also what the 'roof mounted 'bling' would go like and "Hey" I could of gone (10) easy.
Sounder and GPS covers are now finished.
Still using the Humminbird Matrix 97c and Navman 'Tracker 5507'.
Was more interested in uniformity when not in use so I moulded a couple of covers and lined them with very dence foam that does not hold a memory and makes for a 'push over fit' that won't fall off in transit.
Both units will be mounted in dash and "Theft Proof" along a common centre line with GPS over helm and sounder to port side of helm but not beyond dash centre... May just have to raise port side sounder edge later to give an easy side on view but that will be sorted later after 'shake down and fit up'... "that's the plan any way"
man youve put some hours into this rig ,just keep track on how much weight your putting foward with that hard top etc, cats hate weight ,especially foward.

Thanks for that opti...As the old dash was a reasonably heavy set up, the batteries were under the seats (4 of them), and all my trash was in the front so called storage/bunk everything is now pushed back about 500mm.
Batteries are 500mm rearward and deep in the hull, seats are 150mm back so weight including fuel tanks are set back from original locations.
Hard top walls will be very light weight but very strong and windows all up will be far lighter than the original screen/grab rail assembly and on a par including solid hard top with my wave breaker/bimi/rocket launcher wanna be I had before.(It was a two man effort lifting both screens and wave breaker off in separate sections.they were very heavy and the nose always lifted and never broached)
Even Hard top is pushed rearward with overhang to put weight towards the centre.
The whole set up is far more sturdier and has much more density than the half arsed construction of the original I know but with added length and rearward displacement we think that it will float higher all round.
Finger crossed.
This is coming along out around the 'Corals' Western Port at 65kph and I know I drained at least 200 litres a side out of it on the trailer should of realised then that she wazza leaking but we did get flogged around the corner outside in front of 'Punch Bowl'
