Elite 5 combo vs elite 5 dsi combo

I've researched this a lot and cannot seem to find an answer. I want an Elite 5 not a hds 5. I want to know peoples experiences with the dsi. Whether it is worth getting. I understand the great bottom and structure scanning of the dsi but is it actually good at sounding fish? I really want a sounder for scanning for fish and bottom, not one that is going to be great for structure but not finding fish. I need it for snapper fishing especially so finding individual/school fish important in the bays.

can not comment on the Elite5dsi but i am running a Elite5 combo as that is what i'm running in my hornet
and i must say i have found it a top little unit that is about as good as you can get in that price point
sure there are better units out there for more money but i couldn't see the worth for what i do in them over what the elite5 does

if you have used lowrance before and know them well then you will find everything very easy to use and set up for you liking
