amazing, so did you actually leave the pier? Were you doing it in shifts?
3 nights, 2 days on the pier, am I reading this wrong? _________________

Amazing alright. Who's manning the porta potty? Or is that the secret burley..
When I popped in for a squizz the pier was lined with Stellas and maybe even some dirty old Saltigas. These folks are taking it all a bit serious.
Give me a humble tinny and a bit of space.
At least the blokes out the end know what they are doing. Walk down 15 metres or so and start to see all the crossed lines, and punters casting directly into reef losing rig after rig. _________________
Not that amazing, it's just like you boaties paying Nomad $1000's to fish from a mothership for 3 days streight. Sure the fishing is a tad slower and the accommodation a whisker less flash but it's the poor man's equivalent
Yeah mate, we started saturday arvo around 6pm and left tuesday morning around 6am. the first night was pretty tough as we couldn't get the tarp up due to strong wind and rain and we finally got it up at 5am in the morning. The next couple of days were pretty cruisy, we got the bbq happening with bacon & eggs and pizza delivered for dinner. We took turns sleeping and i got a total of 7hrs sleep and drove home loaded with red bull and power napping it. probably the adrenalin was still pretty high after the great fishing we had too. The dunny wasn't too far away either, so no porta potty required. See, just like Nomad.

Think it's time for you to book a week on Nomad or The Ultimate Lady Frank.
You won't be complaining to staff, "there's a nail protruding from my mattress, and someones piss is spraying me again".
Until then keep it up, less boaties out there. _________________
I reckon you should maybe put that time into working for a day and a half then go out on a good charter like think big for a trip with the money earn't but yeah mammoth effort anyways and i reckon it might irrate people waiting to ge into the prime spot, just another hour and i can move up to the end of the pier.
Hi, I am pretty new to fishing in Victoria, and was just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers on where some good rock fishing spots are (Preferably in the Westernport area). Obviously you are not going to give me your secret spots, but I just want to know where I can get started and catch some fish.
