It doesnt matter which state you live in, aboriginal people are dis-enfranchised, disadvantaged and treated unfairly.
Yer right!!!
How do you work that one out?
Im sure in all government job/large company job positions you wouldnt be asked if your from aboriginal/torres straight islander background if you where going to be disadvantaged against in most aptitude tests, and if you weren't going to be advantaged then why would it be mentioned!!!
Same as in school exams and stuff like that!

Most of the time its about keeping/gathering statistics.
Do you think that you put aboriginal on your exam and then you get a free pass??
I'd like to know what the aboriginals ACTUALLY want..?? Seriously, does anybody know what they ACTUALLY want..??
Money, schooling, houses, etc are clearly NOT what they want.... Providing these things hasn't helped... So what will help..?? KRudd saying sorry did jack shite, and after listening to the fella from the tent embassy the other day, they clearly don't give 2 shites about being recognised in the constitution...
My sister worked in a very remote aboriginal town in the NT as a school teacher.... She has some pretty crazy stories, and some funny ones... Also tells a story of 1 trouble making black fella - the local cops would think it was funny to jam his hands and fingers in the paddy wagon door... Heros... I also know a lady that worked as a nurse in a remote community who had to send 2 kids that were suffering from malnutrition, back out into the bush with their mother because they were told not to intervene - both kids died... WTF is the go with that sort of sh!t..?? Political correctness put before the lives of kids..!! Pisses me off..
Rant-end..

You come up here & visit me & i'll take you for a walkabout in Redfern just on the city limits.
You can speak to the indigenous people there & ask them what they get for free
In any area like redfern there are an influx of services to try and meet the needy.
Here in Ballarat we have Uniting care operating out of (wendouree west a housing commision area). They are trying to meet the needs of the most disadvantaged.
Having said that, they will service anyone, just like I am sure the services that operate out of redfern will.
You have made a great big claim about a heap of free stuff that we get for being aboriginal, yet you havent shown a single one.
ALL of the services/benefits that people are entitled to are on centrelinks website etc... If it was true, it wont be hard to find
Did you know that 60% of Aboriginal Australians are actually doing ok and that in 2001 a study showed that 25% of aboriginal australians earned more than the average aussie.
Sad point is that ATSIC didnt like the findings and vetoed the follow up study

Might not be political correctness. Might just be poor service delivery. Since 1996 approx 93 aussie children have died after DHS had closed their case , no political correctness or anything claimed in these cases. They just shut their cases when clearly they shouldnt have.

Needy my arse they just dont want to work have no intention of ever wanting to
I own commercial property a bit further sth & when i was working i'd see them hanging around casing joints out.
In my position we care for a group of white teens that spend their days doing exactly the same thing. They get caught and let go all the time. I saw one of the girls we care for punch an unknown male in the face breaking his nose. Police turned up and said they aren't charging her.
Today I had a stand off with a psychotic knife weilding teen, threatend to kill me, herself and everyone around her. I seriously thought my time was up. I managed to talk her down a little, She went out onto the road stopping the traffic, we blocked of the street, she threatened to stab a passer by. I was with her the whole time.
The police arrived and were VERY reluctant to take to the station to even question her.
If an aboriginal person had done this and was released, everyone would say its because she was black.
(its a very weird feeling standing outside the office with a mentally unwell person with a knife threatening to stab you...... what worse is when you hear your colleagues who are inside, click the door locks shut leaving you out there, then you know if she comes at you you can even disappear inside!)

Kicked one of them out when doing some developing his eyes were wondering everywhere;
15 minutes later i saw the same guy running down the street carrying one of my subby's kango box's
The idiot had stolen an empty box but he didn't know that
Im not big on all things politics as I think its all corruption. My views are old and basic. Aborigines were doing better than us and didnt have to work before we came here so why should we try to make them work now. Just like the Americans, these days, teaching the humble no stress Tibetan farmers how to put a noose around their necks by teaching them how to get a city job and then pay compulsory taxes and bills. We capitalist westerners should be ashamed and Im happy to here any criticisms. _________________ I am an idiot and a liar.
