Not one who likes advertising locations only a small reef but here's a clue for those who suspect
Tis a bit hard these days to get good pics i fish with mates most of whom have never done this srt of fishing'
Twas a bit of a shite fight monday one minute i had gloves on next off to take pic all the while keeping an eye on angler & fish controlling the boat thought we were going to lose mondays black under the tanker @ one stage had to use the boat to avoid that incident & it was a close call 3rd guy on board was of little use.
Angler was wrapped his 1st marlin & was over the moon following day when he nailed a stripe we got one each just 2 on board made it hard to pull camera out to get any aerial display shots.
We were joking about going out today in a bid to get him a blue to fullfill the trifecter but i was stuffed
Called the Black @ a conservative 100 kg & the stripes 70 kg hairy marlin well over 100 kg the plics sure know how to stuff up your day
A couple more shots

| Excuse my ignorance but the furthest north I've ever towed my boat from Melbourne is Eden.....what town/place/water are people referring to when they talk of the car park and the sticks? |

Car park is a run out from pt stevens, swansie just a haven for bait to collect hence the amount of fish
Haven't seen anything close to it off sydney for 20 dd years just the way the currents work _________________ **************************

Nice pics JG, I'd love to tow my boat up to the Nth coast one day and fish for a week or two there.
On another note - obviously for a day on the marling you guys start early, cause with shorts like that, it looks like you must get dressed in the dark ... hehe _________________

Never fished it all our trips up nth were straight out to norah canyons looking for the big fish.
Do know it's quite a hike & gets very crowded hence the name Car Park
I dont like crowds & these days lucky enough to pick my days mid week fishing locally.
Even to do a trip up there you do need a switched on crew as you would've seen in other thread & bear in mind not all boats fair that great there either.
