Hi All,
A bloke I know had his pride and joy pinched on Thursday morning 16/2 at 1am from east St Kilda. The boat is a Boston Whaler 235 Conquest. It is white with no markings and appears in as new condition. Motor is a Verado 225. American built alloy trailer with brakerite hydraulic brakes. There is video footage of a white 'Hilux Ute?' towing it.
The owner is offering a cash reward for anyone who has seen a boat like this in the past few days or could offer any helpful information.
Please post any info here or PM me.
Thanks,
Craig |

Thought this may help as this file photo is as described being 'white with no markings and has the Verado on the back.'
Hope some joy will eventuate as I can feel that that the owner would be gutted with the loss.
Regards Steve. |

Hi - I feel the pain the owner is going through as I experienced the same just befor christmas.
I hope the cctv footage will help identify the affending vehicle.A boat of that size is not easy to hide and i am sure there ae many eye's on the water and on the road.My experience taught me that it will be the fishing community or public that will help find the boat as the police do not activiley search for boats......
Without going into the insurance debate - trust it was coverd however it will never heal the pain and anxiety of having your pride and joy taken..

Good luck with that. I had my HH650 stolen a year ago now, was found 9 months later stripped to the bone. Funny as a hilux was seen towing my boat around 4 weeks after it was stolen. I know how the owner feels. Boats being stolen seems to be a regular thing lately. Hope he had insurance Cheers Phil. _________________ www.portphillipboatingcentre.com.au |

A Hi-Lux ute.. ...man that gotta be highly illegal...theres no way a hi-lux would have that sorta towing capacity. _________________ If you don't have time to do it right, will you have time to do it again ???

If theyre performing an illegal act of boat theft.... i dont think towing legalities are really that high on their list
I hope the boat is retuned in the condition it was taken. _________________ How's the serenity.... |

Boat has been recovered along with a bunch of vehicles in Western Suburbs.
Some faith in the system has been restored!
Thanks for the feedback. |
