Here are the pictures

In regards to your question about iso fishing, it is an advanced form of rock fishing which originates from Korea and Japan. Iso Fishing specialises in using long 5.3m rods combined with lever brake reels, highly sensitive iso floats and floating line to catch all species of fish in Australia. It is an effective way to target fish off the rocks in Sydney.

Mate looks like a ripper of a pig. I do some iso fishing off the rocks myself. Looks like a Shimano Limited Pro Iso Rod, can I ask what number rod it is?

geez!! thats a nice catch!!! NSW rock fishing is so much better than here in melb!!

went fishing down inverloch last wkend during real blowie conditions.
went spearfishing eastern side of the big point there. (cant remember the name). plenty of whitewash and plenty of real fat sweep.
sat night, got outa the wind and pumped some yabbies and fished inverloch next to the caravan park. managed 7 estuary perch (biggest around 42cm), a 37cm mullet and one nice big flattie.
tasted awesome in beer batter with beer batter fries!

Yes thats a Shimano Limited Pro in the 1.2 size. Very good blackfish/bream rod, good balance and very light.

Our iso fishing lifestyle team just got back from a hot drummer session at Maroubra. We fished from 5am - 9am and caught a total of 7 pigs, 1 blackfish, 1 Salmon, 4 Bream and 1 Tailor.

3 pigs at the 50cm mark with the biggest being 53cm weighing about 3.5kg. the other 4 were between 45-48cm.
The 4 Bream were all averaging 36cm with biggest bream at 39cm.

Pictures and videos coming soon, keep you updated.

Well done, great post and refreshing to see something different. Looks like the fresh water coarse fishing equivalent.
Cheers Frank

Appreciate the comment frank happy-fish.gif There actually is a freshwater equivalent with this style of fishing, but once again, its slightly different. Yeah, its good to try out new stuff every once in a while. Don't get me wrong, i still fish the Australian way as well and it is just as fun! Iso Fishing is just better at times when there is less fish around as it almost always produces fish.

Check out our newest and best video, for all those drummer, bream fisherman, this one is just for you!

Great video Gab. For those not following the game scene here is a link to what I have been up to since January. There's some pics and video of Jacks 122kg marlin, some kings and tuna.
