Sorry I was shit stirring JG, I started work at 9am yesterday and was still going at 11.30pm, I thought I was funny confused-fish.gif laughing-fish.gif

I can't stress enough, I do think that the kids doing crime SHOULD be held accountable. They should have consequences. Yesterday I advocated that a 16 year old that I support should be remanded and not released on bail. I also told him that. I am glad that he was. He is a koori kid too, doesn't matter to me. I pull no punches when I deal with these kids. If a kid assaults my staff or damages property I make 100% per cent sure that they are charged. I often advocate for children to be remanded in what they call secure welfare. A lock up for kids that haven't even committed a crime but are spiraling out of control. The kids don't get a free ride off me, if they want a good court report they must earn it.

I just get sick of those that create these little monsters walking around Scott free.

Last night I worked with some young girls, i heard a 12 year old telling her mum she still loves her, she is a good mum and wishes she could come home. The girl was groomed and
prostituted at 10.

Whole problem summed up right there Kel. Kid would believe what she said.

It's like a whirlpool and only a small percentage of the strongest can ever climb out. 12 year old will unfortunately have kids of her own, probably sooner rather than later. Rinse, repeat and the whole process starts again.

Black, white or brindle, I take my hat off to ya for trying to make a difference unhappy-fish.gif

Yeah well prob the way i was brought up if told to sit & behalve we didn't move got told never to ask when visiting & we never did whether @ relo's or not

Got taught to respect other people belongs & we did that as well
If you want to get on my nose then dis-respect anything belonging to me & you'll see a side i dont show to often i lose it.

As far as these little shitehead kids go i dont tolerate them & just an opinion

All these so called experts conducting studies are to blame, govnments take what they have to say as expert advice bring in new laws which allows kids to run amok
Then they want to hold responsible parents accountable for their kids actions angry-fish.gif

In the case of kids in regards to this topic BUCKET MOUTH should learn to shut it, these kids look up to him for the life of me dont know why & when he opens his trap defending their actions

What the hell are the kids suppose to think confused-fish.gif confused-fish.gif

As bad as the alledged bad homes these kids could possibly be

What are the chances their parents tell the kids
Go out steal a car run amok & get chased & get shot @ by the police

Thats EXACTLY the type of thing that happens. Parents flog their kids if they dont steal for them, they get them hooked on drugs at ten, they prostitute them, mums is jealous of her 9 year old because of the 'special treatment' step dad is giving her and kicks her out, mum hangs 6 year old on a coat hook on the back of his bedroom door so he stays out of trouble while she goes clubbing for the night, 12 year old earns his pocket money looking after dads plants and riding his bike across town delivering drugs, 15 year old gets told by dad, 'you can go to detox if ya want but dont think your stopping me from using drugs in my own home' and the worst part is, these arent even the 'bad cases'.

The stories of some kids are absolutely horrific. Some referrals are nearly impossible to read, you have to force yourself to read them.

When children are abused their brain development changes, they get re-wired.

Their brains function differently, thats why I say they are CREATED. But who is held to account for this???

Forget Mundine, he must have a fight coming up. He generally comes out and upsets people before a fight, that way people want to see him bashed and he gets a bigger pay day. Everyone falls for it.

Thanks Andy, I am just one of thousands in a large industry trying to make a difference.

I dont know what the answer is either, I guess I am just trying to highlight the bigger picture.

Think of the worst, most unimaginable things that could happen to a person and thats what these kids live. Those examples that I gave a just run of the mill basic examples of poor parenting, that doesnt even scratch the surface of some of the horrific things I have seen/heard or read. unhappy-fish.gif

Key word kel examples
You may deal with hard cases BUT not all come from bad homes & parents

Some do it as pier pressure others think it's cool

Possibly wink-fish.gif

More likely the father is in jail already, 4th step dad is sitting watching the footy with half a doz mates, smoking a bong drinking gallons of booze, while the mother is at the pokies checking out the fella sitting beside her. While this is going on the 3 kids aged 10, 12, & 15 are hanging around the streets.

Don't get me wrong. I agree totally with you guys. The system is a shambles. Besides the ridiculous penalties handed out for crimes committed. Then you have the poor victims of crime, who don't get looked after properly.

I couldn't care less about the offenders backgrounds etc.
6 turds stole a car, and whilst trying to get away from the Police, they ran over a woman and dragged her down the road.

NSW Police officers made a decison and fired upon the driver and stopped the situation before any innocent people were killed.

Well done to the NSW Police, good job. Keep up the good work.

PS, I have zero sympathy for the offenders.
