wish I had of paid more attention at school.

Watching the V17 refurbish and this one with envy.

Got nothing to do with going to school!.

Just need the guts to get in there listen! and learn!and re search! have a go learn by Your mistakes.

But first up you need some machines EG: for starters you could build a wheel barrow out of Ally then move up from there.

Just have a plan, some materials, and a start date.

I would not attempt to build a plate boat, it is a job for experienced operators. I would certainly trust JG to build one. Not sure I'd trust him to design it though, that is a whole 'nuther skill. I might finish up with a boat that rises on to plane faster up-current, than down, a unique vessel indeed. laughing-fish.gif

School cant help you nor can tafe colleges they are a total waste of time

Used to tell my snorks what you learn there you leave there dont bring it into my workshop

Gotta have enthusium & pride to be any good @ anything

2 best tradesmen i ever had work for me were not qualified yet they ran rings around those with credentials those 2 had enthusium & pride

Oh yeah a good imagination goes a long way as well

One of the reasons i retired had lost the mojo every excuse not to be @ work

Tell you what golf course had me visiting @ least twice a week
