Sorry for the newbie question. I want to have a go at modifying one of my cork handled rods. I see each ring of the cork are all butted up against eachother perfectly. Some are even cut angled and the next ring after it is angled perfectly to match up against it. How in the world do you cut each piece of cork so perfectly? I dunno maybe I have it all wrong lol. Can anyone help me out?
I want to extend the butt on the rod so I will need to add some cork rings to it. I plan to take a few off an old rod I have lying around and glue them to the extended section. _________________ Profile is upgraded if interested |

OK. I have since found out that the cork rings are not actually cut perfectly to match eachother. They appear that way because they are clamped and glued tightly together. _________________ Profile is upgraded if interested |
