was out fishing on some streams last week and scratched the sides of my FWD s. so i through get the brush cutter out the next day
the hedge trimmer was working but soon broke ,then i put the brush blade on .cut them off OK but you got too get rid of the off cuts to get more
went too the recycle and picked up two lawn trimmers for parts $3 each
put the carby on a old Ryoby works fine ,but not the best angle for me back
The stihl coil was stuffed and the spare trimmers coil was stuffed so i put the coil from the ryoby on the sthil , only to find the timing was out by 40 ,degrees. refitted the fly wheel to correct the problem. works fine. repaired two trimmers for six dollars..
it cost $116 for a sthil coil ,now i got too get two coils for my four horse out board,
i wonder if i can make ryoby coils fit . not worth two hundred dollars for two coils
