I fished Saturday out of Port Fairy directly south of Julia Percy island in 55m and got our 6 by 12:30 and left them still going off....fish were spread over a large area with bust ups in all directions...all single hook-ups
Many of the same area's we also fished - SSE, Sth of the island, SW 52m to 70m etc etc
Small metal head skirts in purple and white/red did not work for us.

Best lure over the last 2 weekends for us is the purple mackeral xrap 30 run at about 10-12m short off the starboard corner. Its the first thing to get hit every time- every year and wouldn't start a spread without it on SBT. I'd run one short off the starboard side as well but prop wash seems to mess with it on that side.
Sometimes we take it out of the water to give the other lures a chance
